Have you have ever wanted to learn more about sailing and sailboats? Then this is a great place to start! This course is for the absolute beginner and for the sailor who just needs a refresher course. This two-day course of sailing instruction; both in the classroom and on the water on club members' mono hull sailboats. You will learn boat safety, points of sail, parts of the boat, sail trim, steering, weather/wind, and so much more. The course is held at The Lake Mead Marina inside the Boathouse Restaurant. Included in your registration fee is the "Basic Keelboat" textbook, a Nevada Yacht Club Sail Training T-Shirt, and a completion certificate. Lunch is also available for purchase at a special price!
