A: Yes! Anyone interested in sailing is welcome at our meetings. Please see our Events calendar for more information on our monthly general meetings.

Q: How do I subscribe to Nevada Yacht Club emails without becoming a member?

A: Subscribe to Nevada Yacht Club emails by by entering your contact information on the Contact page. Alternatively, registering for a Nevada Yacht Club event will automatically subscribe you to our mailing list. Contacts will be removed from our mailing list after six months of inactivity. Remain on our active mailing list by registering for events or by joining as a club member! 

Q: Does the Nevada Yacht Club have a club house?

A: No. Because Lake Mead is in a National Recreation Area, we are not able to have a club house at the lake. Monthly meetings are held at venues in the Las Vegas area. The the patio in front of the Boathouse Restaurant at Lake Mead Marina serves as a rendezvous point for sailing and training events. Information on location of each event can be found on the specific event registration page accessed through the calendar.

Q: Does the Nevada Yacht Club own any sailboats for use by its members?

A: No. The Nevada Yacht Club does not own any sailboats for use by its members. The Club relies on boat-owning members to facilitate training and cruising events.
