The Nevada Yacht club has adopted a cove!

In partnership with the Lake Mead National Park Service, the Nevada Yacht Club has adopted Castle Reef Cove!

Responsibilities include cove clean-ups four times a year. Coordinating/using your sailboat to get to the cove.  The club will provide trash bags, gloves, non-alcoholic refreshments.

This cove is only accessible by boat so you will need to arrange your own transportation to the Cove. The start time reflects to time to meet at the cove. This is also a strenuous activity on un-level loose gravel.  

Skippers need to reach out to the Committee Boat enroute to the cove so that we can assist in finding a spot for your boat.   We will also assist you in anchoring your boat in the cove  

We encourage members to meet at the cove and then enjoy the beauty of the lake after we clean up the cove :).
